One of the great success stories of the British carpet industry, Cormar Carpets is based in Lancashire. In 2006 the company was named as one of 10 companies to watch in the Sunday Times Top 100 independent companies in the UK.

Most carpet sold in the UK is imported from the continent. In contrast Cormar manufactures carpet at its two mills in Lancashire and works with leading trade organisations such as Carpet Recycling UK ensuring sustainable manufacture.
